High School Teacher/Girls Golf Coach
I graduated from LCM High School in 1981. I attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches Louisiaina for two years then Lamar University where I graduated in 1985. I began my teaching career at LCJH in 1986. I left teaching in 1991 to be a mom and manage a landscaping nursery, Heard's Nursery. I went back to teaching in 1993 at St. Mary Catholic School and taught there for six years. I then taught at Vidor Junior High School for eleven years before returning back to LCM in 2008 to teach Social Studies at the high school.
Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education

Physical Education.
I am certified to teach Early Childhood-12th grade Physical Education and all areas in High School Social Studies.
I have two daughters that graduated from LCMHS. They also were part of the STATE CHAMPION SOFTBALL TEAM in 2006. They graduated from TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY and both got their Doctorates in Physical Therapy. One is practicing in Washington State and the other in New Hampshire.
