April 4 (LCM) – Alantheon Winn will keep his basketball talents close to home as he signed the dotted lined with Lee College in Baytown. Winn was the Offensive player of the year in the district this season.

BEARS WRAP UP SEASON AT SILSBEE

February 13 (Silsbee) – The Bears wrapped up their season at Silsbee Tuesday night. LCM fell to the Tigers 78-40. Alantheon Winn scored 26 for the Bears, who finish the season 3-9 in district play and 12-21 overall.

January 12 (LCM) – Jonah Fuller (above) had a big night defensively and Alantheon Winn had a big game offensively scoring 29 points as the Bears beat the Jasper Bulldogs 57-33. LCM is now 2-2 in district play.

BEARS FALL IN DOUBLE OT

January 9 (Lumberton) – The Bears lost in double OT 54-47 to Lumberton to fall to 1-2 in district play. LCM had three players in double figures led by Jonah Fuller’s 19, Jayden Benton with 12, and Alantheon Winn with 12. The Bears will host the Jasper Bulldogs Friday.

BEARS HOST IP CLASSIC

December 29 (LCM) – The Bears hosted the annual LCM/IP Classic Thursday and Friday. A number of teams from across southeast Texas and the Bendigo team from Australia competed in this years tourney. LCM went 3-1 in with wins over Cleveland, Splendora, and Bendigo.

BEARS FINISH THIRD IN ARANSAS PASS TOURNEY

December 2 (Aransas Pass) – The Bears beat West Oso 59-46 to take third place in the Best of the Bay Tournament in Aransas Pass. Alantheon Winn led the Bears with 20 points and Bryson Price finished with 11. LCM will play at the Hardin Jefferson Hoops Marathon beginning Thursday.

BEARS FALL AT HOME TO BULLDOGS

November 28 (LCM) – The Bears fell at home to Nederland 73-45 to fall to 2-4 on the season. Alantheon Winn led the Bears with 28. The Bears will travel to the Aransas Pass to play in the annual Battle of the BayTournament this weekend (11/30-12/2).

WILDCATS DOWN BEARS 

November 22 (Atascosita) – The Bears fell to the Westbury Christian Wildcats (3-2) Wednesday morning 55-39. Alantheon Winn scored 21 points for the Bears who are now 2-3 on the year. LCM will host the Nederland Bulldogs next Tuesday.

BEARS FALL AT HUFFMAN

November 17 (Huffman) – The Bears traveled to Huffman Friday afternoon and fell to the Falcons 61-34. Alantheon Winn lead the Bears with 18 points and Braylon Lewis finished with 12. The Bears fall to 1-2 pn the season and will play in the Pineywoods Showcase beginning Monday.

BEARS WIN HOME OPENER OVER INDIANS

November 14 (LCM) – The Bears home opener was a good one as LCM came away with a 54-28 win over the PNG Indians. Alantheon Winn finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Jayden Benton and Dane Hawk had nine each. LCM (1-1) will travel to Huffman Friday to take on the Falcons.
