About The Convention
Anime Matsuri Is an anime convention in downtown Houston Texas held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. It is an anual event, attracting swarms of people who invest their life into Japanese pop culture and entertainment. Live concerts, cosplay contests, maid cafe’s, and all kinds of pannels are provided to cater to everyones unique interest. Matsuri will have both an artist alley as well as a dealers room if a student would like to invest in momento’s or just browse the merchandise. Read more below!

Maid Cafe
Greetings to our Goshujin-samas (master) / Ojou-samas (mistress), we welcome you to come and experience our enchanting Maid Café for lovely maids and handsome butlers who will happily serve you as you sit back and relax with a variety of delicious snacks and drinks.
In addition, your maid or butler will present a special souvenir to their masters in appreciation for servitude. in addition you have the opportunity to take pictures with your main and butler and purchase limited edition Maid Cafe merchandise have the opportunity to take pictures with your main and butler and purchase limited edition Maid Cafe merchandise. Artist Alley
The Artist Alley at Anime Matsuri brings an eclectic blend of artists, modelers, small publishers, clubs and individuals who promote and sell their unique creations, take commissions, advertisement their services and special displays. All artists from amateur to professional are all welcome to exhibit their talents.
The Artist Alley is located on the 1st Level of the George R. Brown Convention Center Exhibit Hall CD.

We will all be paying for two rooms (boy room and girl room), therefore we must add the price of two rooms.

Now we must see the cost for the TWO nights we will be staying

These two rooms with up to three beds (the two queens and sofa bed) should be enough to hold everyone. Potentially speaking, up to five people can fit in each room if the queens are shared between two people.

Notice!!!
Parents, please remember to send your child money for food. We, unfortunately, can not give you a set amount of money you child needs to bring, as the food prices at the convention varies each year. Just know that it can be expensive. If you want to visit the dealers room, the merchandise room, you must also bring your own money as well. We did not include this in the grand total of admission.
Convention Rules and Regulations
- You are not only a member of the LCM Anime Club, but a student of the Little Cypress-Mauriceville school disrict as well. Please take in mind that you are representing our school as a whole and should not do anything to create a bad impression upon us. This means: no wild screaming (fangirling/fanboying), running around like a little kid at a candy shop, etc.
- Absolutely, positively NO DISRESPECT is allowed amongst staff members or your fellow peers during this trip. We do not tolerate lamentable behavior and we will deal with such accordingly. The staff memers as well as volunteers of the convention AS WELL AS THE HOTEL are there to benefit your stay, so pay your respects.
- There will be a set curfew for the time you must be back in your hotel room. Breaching of this set time will result in immediate comdemnation and severe consequences.
- You are NOT allowed to leave the hotel at any point in time during this trip, unless given permission.
- Whilst browsing the convention, there will be a buddy system, or partner system. The both of you are required to stick together throughout the convention. You must also check in together to your assigned chaperone at the set time alotted.
- Please do not trash your hotel room. Most of you, if not all of you, are at least fifteen years old. By now, you should know how to clean up after yourself. The maid service at the hotel should not be obligated to clean up after your mess. That may be what they are paid to do, but please make it as easy as you can for them to do their job.
- You must report to your hotel room at exactly 9 PM every night at the hotel, NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be a role call, failure to listen will result in punishment.
Cosplaying Dress Code and rules
- There must be full coverage of the breast are on a woman, as well as the chest area of a man.
- Cosplay shirt/dress/garment should cover your shoulder completey
- The mid drift of both sexes must be covered
- Skirts/shorts/dresses/etc. must be finger tip length
- You must wear shoes. This is a convention cosplay rule.
- Your weapon prop should not pose any real threat to any member of the convention. It must be made of foam or permanately holstered. Fake gun's are nor permitted.
Please keep in mind that these regulations are put in place to keep the impression of our school district a good one. We do not want to be the subject of gossip amongst the other schools upon returning.
Packing Suggestions
- For travel you might want to bring a portable device to keep you entertained like:
- CD's for rode
- Music Device
- Headphones
- Because you will be sharing a room with three other people, you might want to pack some of your own travel size toiletries such as:
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Deoderant
- Soap/Body Wash
- Hairbrush/Comb
- Toothbrush/Toothpaist/Tooth floss/Mouth wash
- Your own personal hand towels/towels
- Loofa/Scrubber for washing your body (Even though the hotel will provide it.)
- I highly suggest you bring your own pillow/pillow case/sheets/blankets. Hotel comforters, misc. are not cleaned as often as you think, and could pose as a hygienic issue. Bringing your own covers will also be better for the car ride.
- Clothes for three day
- Pyjamas for three days
- Extra clothes, just in case
- Chargers for all electronic devices
- While walking around the convention:
- Carry a bag around with you just in case
- Bottles of water
- Energy Bars
- Snacks
- If your cosplaying, you may want to pack a mimi sewing kit
- Your ID
- Your Money
- Your Hotel Key
- Your phone
- Change of clothes, just in case
- Deoderant, you will be walking around alot, so you will be sweating
