Endorsements

Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study satisfy graduation credit requirements for three endorsement areas: Business and Industry, Public Service, and STEM. All students declare an endorsement area in 8th grade by selecting a program of study that best prepares them for their career goals. The earned endorsement(s) will be reflected on the student’s official transcript upon high school graduation.

Credit toward an endorsement through completion of a CTE program of study requires at least 4 credits in at least 3 courses in an approved CTE program including at least one advanced (TEA level 3 and 4) CTE course.
