ANGELLE SELECTED LADY BEARS AOW

September 7 – Congratulations to senior, Paisley Angelle for being selected as the LCM Lady Bears Athlete of the Week. The Lady Bears had an impressive week of 10 wins, no losses led by Paisley’s outstanding offensive net play of 113 kills. On Tuesday alone, Paisley contributed an astounding 20 kills, 34 digs, and an ace in the team’s victory over Dayton. She also earned All-Tournament honors this weekend, helping the Lady Bears win the Championship Match in the Gold Bracket against Liberty.

FISHER TAKES 10TH AT REGIONAL PREVIEW

September 6 (Huntsville) – Brodie Fisher finished 10th at the Region III preview meet in Huntsville Saturday morning. The boys team finished in 4th out of 29 teams and Allyson Welch placed 14th out of 191 runners.

LADY BEARS WIN HJ TOURNEY

September 6 (Sour Lake) – The Varsity Lady Bears defeated Liberty to become the champions of the Hardin-Jefferson Tournament. Congratulations to seniors, Asia Woodson (below left) & Paisley Angelle (below right) for being named to the All-Tournament Team.

LADY BEARS SWEEP DAYTON

September 2 (LCM) – The Lady Bears downed the Dayton Lady Broncos in five sets (25-17, 25-21, 15-25, 16-25, 15-9) to move to 17-6 on the season. Stat leaders-Kills: Paisley Angelle (20), Aadi Day (8), Cyra Johnson (8), Asia Woodson (8), Miya Hoy (7), Makayla Dougharty (5). Aces: Miya Hoy (5), Paisley Angelle (1), Jada Montagne (1), Aubrey Temple (1). Assists: Jada Montagne (34), Miya Hoy (21), Asia Woodson (1). Digs: Paisley Angelle (34), Aubrey Temple (29), Asia Woodson (22), Jada Montagne (17), Miya Hoy (6), Aadi Day (3), Cyra Johnson (3), Arelly Delafuente (1). The freshman team won in two sets  (25-9, 25-13) and the JV team won in two sets (25-21, 25-17) to make it a clean sweep for LCM.
