BEARS FINISH OUTSTANDING FALL SEASON

October 9 (Conroe) – The Bears finished out their outstanding fall season on Thursday with a tough round two playoff loss against China Spring. 

BEARS CRUISE TO BI-DISTRICT TITLE

October 7 (Beaumont) – Battlin’ Bear Tennis competed in the bi-district round of playoffs on Tuesday and maintained their undefeated season record with a huge victory. The Bears cruised past Huffman Hargrave with an overall score of 18-1.

BEARS CLAIM DISTRICT TITLE

September 29 – Bear Tennis got a 14-5 win over Bridge City Monday nigt. LCM went undefeated in district play and are the 2025 District Champions.

BEARS CRUISE PAST LUMBERTON

September 22 (LCM) – Bear Tennis cruised past the Lumberton Raiders Monday afternoon 18-1.

WILEY SELECTED CO-LADY BEARS AOW

September 21 – Congratulations to junior, Kenlie Wiley & sophomore, Aadi Day for being selected as the LCM CO-Lady Bears Athletes of the Week. 

Last week, Kenlie battled it out in a tiebreaker match that resulted in her defeating Bridge City in both her singles and doubles tennis matches.

BARNES SELECTED BEARS AOW

September 21 – Congratulations to junior, Sam Barnes for being selected as the LCM Bears Athlete of the Week. Last week, Sam won both his singles and doubles matches against Bridge City. His singles scores were 6-4 and 6-0. Sam also competed in the Lions and Lasses Tennis Tournament in Beaumont and won 1st place in boys doubles.

BEARS GET WIN OVER CARDINALS

September 15 (LCM) – The Battlin’ Bear Tennis team competed in a district match against Bridge City today. The Bears achieved victory in a battle with an overall score of 12-7 to maintain an undefeated record for this season so far.

BEARS DOWN PIRATES

September 8 (LCM) – The Battlin’ Bear Tennis team downed the Vidor Pirates 15-4 in a district match Monday afternoon.

BARNES SELECTED LADY BEARS AOW

September 1 – Congratulations to sophomore, Sarah Barnes for being selected as the LCM Lady Bears Athlete of the Week. Last Monday, Sarah won both her singles and mixed doubles matches against the Lumberton Raiders. She also competed in the Labor Day Tennis Tournament in Beaumont and won 1st place in girls singles.

BARNES TAKES FIRST

August 23 (Beaumont) – Bear Tennis player Sarah Barnes competed in the Beaumont Labor Day Tennis classic this weekend and won 1st place in girls singles.
