November 3 – Congratulations to senior, Parker Freeman for being named the LCM Battlin’ Bears Athlete of the Week. Parker had an outstanding all-around performance Friday night, showcasing his versatility as the Bears’ tight end, punter, & defensive end. He hauled in 3 receptions for 56 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaged 38 yards on 4 punts (including a powerful 54-yarder), and added 5 tackles on defense. Parker was on the field for an impressive 78% of all plays, proving just how valuable he is to this team.

Dystan had an incredible performance Friday night, anchoring the Bear defense in the 24-16 victory over Bridge City. He racked up 16 tackles, 1 interception, 1 blocked punt, and a sack—a dominant all-around effort that set the tone for the win.

October 20 – Congratulations to senior, Khayden “KD” Reed for being named the LCM Battlin’ Bears Athlete of the Week. KD made a huge impact on both sides of the ball in the Bears’ 52-7 win over Liberty. Defensively, he was outstanding at cornerback—recording multiple tackles, allowing zero pass completions, and grabbing a 48-yard interception return that set up the Bears’ first touchdown. Offensively, KD hauled in 3 receptions for 68 yards, including a beautiful 45-yard touchdown catch.

J’Lynn delivered a dominant offensive performance in the Bears’ 48-28 victory over Livingston. He rushed for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 12 carries—an impressive 14.2 yards per carry! J’Lynn also hauled in a 14-yard reception, further proving to be a key playmaker for the Battlin’ Bears.

October 6 – Congratulations to senior, Marek Lloyd for being named the LCM Bears Athlete of the Week. Marek was an absolute force in the Bears’ game against Hardin-Jefferson. On defense, he racked up 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a sack. Marek also graded out the highest of all offensive linemen. Out of 136 total plays, he was on the field for 115— proving his toughness, endurance, and commitment to the team. Marek is the definition of a Battlin’ Bear.

Dawson delivered a standout performance in the Battlin’ Bears win over Vidor Friday night. He led the team with 6 receptions for 91 yards and sparked momentum early with a 74-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
