GRIZZAFFI WRAP UP GOLF SEASON AT REGIONAL TOURNEY

April 20 (Huntsville) - LCM golfer Cassie Grizzaffi (above) wrapped up the Lady Bears golf season at the girls 4A Regional Tournament on Monday and Tuesday.  Grizzaffi fired a two-day total of 238 at the Bearkat Golf Course in Huntsville.

BOYS AND GIRLS GOLF TEE IT UP IN DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

March 28 (Beaumont) – The Bears and Lady Bears Golf teams competed in the District Golf Tournament at Henry Homberg Golf Course in Beaumont.  Both teams placed third overall in the two-day tournament.  Gavin Lafitte and Cassie Grizaffi qualified individually for the Regional tournament that will be played in Huntsville April 17th-20th at the Beakat Golf Course. 

LADY BEARS TEES IT UP IN SILSBEE INVITATIONAL

March 6 (Silsbee) – The Lady Bear Golf team teed it up in the Silbee Lady Tigers Varsity Golf Invitational Monday morning at Silsbee Country Club.  Freshman Kolbi Fountain (above) led the Lady Bears with a career low round of 106.   Cassie Grizzaffi carded a 110, Paige McKee fired a 121, and Presley Bland shot 127.  The girls will play again Tuesday, March 21st in the Bridge City Lady Cardinal Invitational at Henry Homberg Golf Course in Beaumont.

LADY BEARS PLAY IN NEDERLAND INVITATIONAL

March 2 (Port Arthur) – The Lady Bear Golf team played in the Nederland Lady Bulldogs Varsity Golf Invitational at Babe Zaharias Golf Course Thursday morning.  The team was led by Bella Ihle’s 112 followed by Presley Bland (116), Cassie Grizzaffi (above) (117), Paige McKee (118), and Kolbi Fountain (120).  The Lady Bears will tee it up again on March 6 in Silsbee.

LADY BEARS PLAY IN WARREN INVITATIONAL

February 20 (Warren) – The Lady Bear Golf team hit the links Monday morning in the Warren Lady Warriors Varsity Invitational at Wildwood Golf Course in Village Mills.  The Lady Bears finished with a team score of 485.  Cassie Grizzaffi led the way for LCM with a 111.  Paige McKee carded a 117, freshman Kolbiann Fountain (above) shot a 127, and Bella Ihle and Presley Bland both finished with rounds of 130.  

LADY BEARS HIT THE LINKS

September 29 (Beaumont) – Lady Bear golfers Leyla Bonin (above left) and Paige McKee (above right) hit the links Thursday morning at the West Brook Lady Bruin Invitational.  McKee placed 2nd and Bonin 3rd in the tournament held at Bayou Din Golf Course.
