STAAR SUMMER RE-TEST INFORMATION
LCM High School will offer STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) re-tests from June 24-27. Students who did not pass or were absent for one or more of the STAAR EOC assessments are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this summer re-test opportunity. STAAR re-tests will also be administered in December 2025 and during the spring semester of 2026.
Students who need to re-test should receive a letter with more specific information about opportunities to attend prep sessions on June 16-19 to prepare for their test(s).
June STAAR Re-test Dates:
Tuesday, June 24 – English 1
Wednesday, June 25- English 2 and Biology
Thursday, June 26 – Algebra and U.S. History
Friday, June 27 – Make-Ups
Students should arrive at LCM High School by 8:15 a.m. on their STAAR re-test date(s). Testing will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, students should check in at the front office to find out their assigned testing room.
The Texas Education Agency requires students testing in June to present photo identification.
Please bring a valid photo I.D. to the test.
If you do not have a photo I.D., you must stop by the counseling office WITH A PARENT before going to your testing room.

2025-2026 REGISTRATION For Students NEW to LCMCISD
will be July 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 by appointment (8-4 p.m.)

All students must be compliant with their immunizations to be able to register*.
A parent/guardian and their new high school student(s) will need to be present on the day of registration. Feel free to review the 2025-2026 Pre-Registration Handbook.
Please bring the required 5 documents:
(1) birth certificate,
(2) social security card,
(3) paper copy of immunization record (must be pre-cleared by the LCMHS nurse*),
(4) proof of residency (electric, gas, water, sewer, or lease), and
(5) latest transcript or report card if student has been enrolled in another district.
*Immunization Record - Texas requires that EACH student's immunization record must be up to date and cleared through our school nurse prior to registration whether coming from another Texas school or from out of state. At least 48 hours prior to your registration day, please email the student’s immunization record to the LCM high school nurse Jeannie Alexander at jalexander@lcmcisd.org. She will review the records and confirm by email if any shots are needed before registration.
Once Classes begin, New Students Must Register between 7:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
Community Eligibility Program (CEP)
Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children, regardless of income, at no charge.

High School Transportation Information
The entrance to the student parking lot on 87 by the bandhall is an EXIT only and is blocked off to through traffic. Parents going through the drop-off line will exit to 87 by the bandhall, which helps the flow of traffic in the afternoon. Parents and students CANNOT ENTER the student parking lot from Hwy 87 entrance by the bandhall—it is an exit only for car rider pick up and drop off.
