Career Exploration

Juniors and seniors may use up to two school days each year for professional workplace visits.

To have the absence excused:

  1. Get a Career Investigation form from Ms. Corbell, the attendance clerk.
  2. Have the employer complete the form.
  3. Obtain documentation on company letterhead that includes the student’s name, visit date, and mentor’s name.
  4. Return both documents to Ms. Corbell after the visit.

Job interviews do not qualify as Career Investigation visits.
