  • The ACT is not administered at LCMHS

    Register for the ACT – LCM School Code = 445-240

    The ACT contains multiple-choice tests in three areas: English, Mathematics, Reading. Science and Writing are optional. Scoring is on a 36-point scale with the maximum score on each section being 36 points, then the three parts are averaged together to get one composite score.

    The ASVAB is a FREE test for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to help students determine their vocational and career interests. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in taking the ASVAB for military purposes may also do so on this date.

    Students wishing to take Credit by Exam outside of these dates may visit the Texas Tech Credit by Exam website to sign up for online proctored tests. Official score reports from TTU must be provided to LCMCISD.

    Test Dates – October 14 & 15, 2026 (Register by September 16, 2026)

    The PSAT/NMSQT measures reading, writing, and math skills and helps students prepare for the SAT. It is offered at LCM High School each fall to interested 10th- and 11th-grade students.

    For juniors, the PSAT/NMSQT also serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

    The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) Reasoning Test measures the critical thinking skills you will need for academic success in college.

    The TSI2 Assessment (TSIA2) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help a college or university determine if students are ready for college-level course work in the general areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.

    Students may also take the TSI at the LSCO Testing Center.
