2026-2027 Registration Information
2026-2027 Pre-Registration Handbook
Prior to your registration dates below, students and parents are strongly encouraged to review your Endorsement Plan in the Pre-Registration Handbook, which shows all required classes for graduation and for your Endorsement Plan and lists options (regular or honors choices) and electives.
If you are not sure of your endorsement, you can click the Endorsement link on the left side in your Skyward.
Please compare what is in Skyward with the options on your Endorsement Plan in the Pre-Registration Handbook and talk with your parents about any changes before your registration times.
Juniors and seniors have opportunities to take dual-credit college classes and/or take Advanced Placement classes to prepare for an AP test at the end of the school year which could earn college credits.
CTE classes in Animal Science, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary and/or Welding are available to sophomores through seniors for dual credit.
Students who complete ALL the Animal Science, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary, Process Operations 1 & 2, or Welding courses with a C (70) or higher can graduate from LSCO with a certificate.

CURRENT JUNIORS:
- Tuesday, January 20 - 11th Graders Assembly during 6th period
- Please review PowerPoint Presented on January 20 and complete the green sheet/Course Options for Seniors that juniors received at the Assembly (can open and print if you missed the Assembly or lost your paper)
- To see what you have on your request list for next year, you must Access your Career Plan in Skyward: Log in to the Parent Family Portal then click on the tab on the lefthand side labeled “Career Plan”. Look at the column labeled “2026-2027”.
- Review the course descriptions and plans in the 2026-2027 Pre-Registration Handbook
- January 22, 23, & 27 – Meet with the Counselors to register for your Senior Classes during your English 3 classes – bring the completed green sheet/Course Options for Seniors you got at the assembly!
CURRENT SOPHOMORES:
- Tuesday, January 27 – 10th Graders Assembly during 6th period
- Please review PowerPoint Presented on January 27 and complete the blue sheet/Course Options for Juniors that sophomores received at the Assembly (can open and print if you missed the Assembly or lost your paper)

- January 29-30 - Meet with the Counselors to register for your Junior Classes during your US History classes – bring the completed blue sheet/Course Options for Juniors you got at the assembly!
CURRENT FRESHMEN:
- Tuesday, February 3 – 9th Graders Assembly during 6th period

- February 4-6 - Register for Sophomore Classes during World History classes
* Students requesting dual-enrollment and/or their equivalent courses for next year must meet any college-ready scores prior to being registered into those classes. TSI testing should be completed prior to April 24.
If you requested any course changes for next year from what was posted on your plan, you can see when they have been updated in Skyward. Current high school students are able to see what is posted for your next year’s classes in your Skyward (on the left side, click Schedule and then click the Register for 2026-2027 link above the grid in the right corner).
Thursday, February 19 – Endorsement Fair & 8th Grade Student/Parent Registration meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
Tuesday, February 24 – 8th Graders at MMS register for 9th grade classes during Digital Communications classes
Tuesday, March 3 – 8th Graders at LCJH register for 9th grade classes during Digital Communications classes
Parents should confirm courses requested for 2026-2027.
Friday, March 13 – Last day to notify your counselor of any request changes for 2026-2027.
